“14 juillet” picnic on Fri 07/15 is full!  Due to rainy forecast, registered participants got a venue change by email.  

If you registered for the event, please check your e-mail for the change in venue.  Same time.  New place.  We will not be meeting at Cofrin Nature Park.

Our annual Bastille Day event will be un pique-nique authentique on Friday, July 15, 5 – 7 pm, at a venue disclosed in e-mail to the registered participants.  Registration is now closed.

Many of us AFG-ers remember delicious potluck spreads of the past, but in order to observe health precautions, we will instead order sandwiches, drinks, and individually wrapped goodies from a nearby supermarket.

Last week, you received a reminder to renew your AFG annual membership. (Take advantage of our low rates until le 14 juillet !) All members in good standing may partake of the bounty served at the picnic for free! The cost for non-members (including children not covered by a Family membership) will be $10 per person, cash or check.

RSVP to us via email (president@afgainesville.com) by Wednesday, July 13 at NOON. Say how many are in your party, and whether veggie or meat, so we can be prepared.

The program may include informal performances — a song, a story, a show-and-tell on a bleu-blanc-rouge theme if you have one! Dress comfortably, and bring your own insect repellant and hand sanitizer! Tables and benches are there, but, if you can, bring your own folding chair to facilitate socializing without worries… sans soucis !
