You may be interested in the upcoming event with Trustee Professor and author Joan DeJean.  Ms. DeJean will be speaking about her book, Mutinous Women: How French Convicts Became Founding Mothers of the Gulf Coast, and tracing the path of one of these women deported in 1719 all the way to her present-day ancestors, who will be joining us for the Zoom event.
